Halloween Props gone wild!

A simple idea... a mannequin head on a stick peeking out of my barn window. Simple, not too scary, but an effective illusion to add to the rest of my props. Fast forward two months, same prop still in the barn window, neglected, and forgotten. Walking up to the barn, wait! Whats that... What is in her face? It looks kind of creepy...
On closer investigation.... "It's dead flies!" Now that is a Halloween prop. If I can only keep it up till next October.

Here is wishing for you, a very old fashioned vintage Christmas (or the special holiday you celebrate) filled with the kinds of things that make you smile. Cranberries, and popcorn. Fireplaces, and mittens. Handmade gifts that shows someone cares. And most of all wonderful memories of family times spent around the tree. Lets not let money take center stage this season. Let love and family be the main attraction. None of us knows how many Christmases we have left in our lives. It is a magical time for us all. So slow down and enjoy the magic of the season. No matter how tough life gets, we have to learn to enjoy it. Treasure the people in our lives.

ANOTHER HALLOWEEN

This was my 49th Halloween in this life. I never get tired of them. We had another family party, with Jack O Lanterns, Lots of orange lights, and of course a graveyard out back, filled with real live ZOMBIES! Well, they LOOKED like zombies anyway. It was fun, and some orbs even showed up on my Zombie pic! (psst... it's baby powder filled air, don't tell though!)

The Kitty has a home!!!

Thank you to all that sent positive thoughts! The little kitty (turns out it's a boy, not a girl as I thought) Has a new home, and will be leaving this evening. My employee that has two little girls, said her husband said OK!!! Yay!!! They have another cat, so it will have company! Can't thank you all enough!! Now I can concentrate on my Daughter's wedding this Saturday, and my Grand Daughter all next week during the honeymoon, without the added worry about the kitty being all alone in the shed. YAY YAY YAY!!!
